Five years ago today, my life got a whole lot better...I became an aunt for the first time! Maren Caroline has been a constant source of entertainment ever since since and I don't think my life, our family, or this world would be the same without her. Oh Maren…she is hilarious, sweet, mischievous and fulllllllll or personality. A hoot, to say the least! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the last 5 years... Happy Birthday to the coolest ...
Fall Kind of Sunday
The best season EVER is finally here. It may still be 85 degrees in Houston, but that won't stop me from celebrating! Yesterday was a great fall kind of Sunday…we went to church, skyped with my nieces and nephews, and decorated pumpkins. And our house smelled of pumpkin spice muffins. Now you just can't beat that. We saved one pumpkin to carve in a couple weeks (a French Bulldog silhouette perhaps?) and the rest we painted. I think they turned out pretty darn good! If you're interested, ...
I’m Baaaaack!
It's been over 2 weeks since I've blogged…which I think is 2 years in blog time. Work has been hectic as we've been preparing for our big conference of the year. I had to get there on Saturday morning to help prepare our monster of a custom booth--so Chris and I tried to make the most of our short weekend with a date on Friday night. We put on our boots and went out to the Fort Bend County fair. First was the rodeo...I would seriously go to a rodeo every weekend if I could! You just can't ...

That's when the boys realized that there might've been enough of us out in suburbia to start our own watch party. So, first thing was first…our group of friends organized ...

Sisters Weekend
Four sisters, unlimited coffee, and lots of laughter. I'd say that's a pretty good description of the past weekend at our house! Chris' mom and her 3 sisters took a roadtrip down to visit us for one of their infamous "sisters weekends". Let me just start by saying that these women are hi-larious. I laughed so much just watching them laugh--at old stories, at each other, and just about anything else that came up :) All in all it was a pretty laid-back weekend. We played knock poker, browsed ...
