Does it ever just blow your mind how quickly our children go from infants to basically mini adults? Three and a half years ago we were bringing Arden home from the hospital…last night she was inquiring about sewage systems and trying to figure out if she’ll ever have to swim in poopy water. I can only imagine the questions she’ll have in another three and a half years!
Here are some of my other favorite Arden quotes as of late…
I’ve got the hookups! (hiccups)
No thank you, I’ll lay myself down for a nap. (insert my look of shock!)
Binkies are for bedtime, bud. (pulls out Nash’s pacifier) We’ve been trying to get Nash to use his pacifier at bedtime only. Apparently someone else has been listening!
Mommy, I keep coughing…can you turn on my confuser? (diffuser!)
I can’t wait until I’m 5 and I can get a real phone! Says who exactly?!?
Why did the little boy take a ladder to school? Because he wanted to go to HIGH school! Where does she learn this stuff?
When I grow up I want to be an astronaut…or someone that pierces babies’ ears.
Do you need a Kleenex, Arden? (as she picks her nose) Nope. I got it.
And my very favorite…
The Poopy-S man always brings us packages! (UPS man)
Speaking of growing up…look at this picture Chris sent me from their trip to Scheel’s last weekend. I think she looks like she’s about 12! And the mountain lion is a nice touch, don’t you think?
Oh how I love this little threenager and all her sass!
