Happy Friday, y’all! We’re one week away from Christmas day and I know I’m not complaining! Here are 5 random thoughts for you on this chilly December morning…
one.
Arden had two Christmas programs this week–one at church and one at preschool…and she rocked them both! I was so proud of her getting up on stage without any hesitation and just singing her little heart out. She may have also won the award for “most animated” at her preschool performance. Ha!

I l-o-v-e this printable from Yellow Bliss Road. It’s a knock off of this one from West Elm–and in my opinion, even cuter because of the buffalo plaid. Oh and it’s free!
Now I just want this vest to match. #buffaloplaideverything

I mentioned yesterday that I’d share my sister’s homemade chex mix recipe if she gave me the okay. Then I realized that a. she doesn’t read this and will never know and b. it’s not really a secret 😉
So here you go!
So here you go!
20 cups Crispix cereal
3 cups pretzels
3 cups mixed nuts
1.5 sticks margarine (melted)
6 tsp lemon juice
1.5 tsp onion salt
1.5 tsp garlic salt
6 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 cups pretzels
3 cups mixed nuts
1.5 sticks margarine (melted)
6 tsp lemon juice
1.5 tsp onion salt
1.5 tsp garlic salt
6 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Mix cereal, pretzels and nuts in two large bowls.
Mix all other ingredients and pour over dry mix. Stir till dry mix is wet.
Bake on cookie sheets, cake pans, or roasting pans for 45 mins at 250 degrees, stirring every 15.
Just so you know–this makes a LOT! I cut everything in half when we made it this week, but I’m already wishing we’d done the whole batch. Oh and according to Lindsay, you can never have too much worcestershire sauce. So have at it 😉
Enjoy!

When Arden sat on Santa’s lap last week she told him she wanted “Frozen Barbies” (thanks Grandma!), “games” (thanks Gigi!), and “a frozen yogurt shop”. I’m sure Santa was thinking, “good luck with that, kid!”
Well Santa, I thought the same thing until my friend Jenni came across this Malibu Barbie frozen yogurt shop –an Amazon deal of the day for just $8. All I know is Arden is going to FREAK out!!! Especially considering she’s getting a dollhouse
and some Barbies from my parents on Christmas Eve. It couldn’t be more perfect!

Lastly, since I told you about our teacher and neighbor gifts yesterday, I wanted to share the little gifts that we’re taking to Arden’s dance class pals today. I found it on Pinterest (duh) and just tweaked the printable to make it fit the nail polish we got. If you’re looking for a last-minute gift or stocking stuffer, this is easy and pretty darn cute!
