FOUR.
Die-hard Royals fan I am not…but HOLY COW, what a game that was on Tuesday night!!!! It was totally worth staying up until midnight to witness them play in and win their first post-season game since, oh you know, the year I was born.
I’ve never seen such a crazy baseball game in my life…although, I haven’t watched that many either 😉 I’m more about the atmosphere and food! Regardless, it’s been fun to see KC come alive and support this team!
(Update: since I wrote this, the Royals won game 1 against the Angels last night too!)
FIVE.
Chris and I are heading to Manhattan tomorrow for our first (and last, womp womp) childless game of the season. I’m soooo excited to have a day that’s “just us” before baby comes, but I’m also getting sad about leaving this little super-fan behind. She talks about “watching the football game and putting her hand on her heart (apparently the national anthem made a big impact)” all. the. time. Something tells me she’ll have an okay time at Gigi & Papa’s though 😉
And I just might bring along some binoculars so I don’t miss a single move of Kliff Kingsbury’s play of the game.
