We’ve been enjoying more and more patio time this week…and I don’t hate it. I don’t think these two snackers do either…
I’ve been searching for an outdoor rug for the patio since we moved into our house almost 2 years ago. So when I found this beauty for less than $80, I was basically jumping up and down in the middle of Sam’s. I just think it makes this space so cozy and warm. Now all we need are some flowers and accessories…and I’ll never want to leave.

Chris got home early from a work trip on Wednesday, so we took advantage of the extra time and went on a little adventure at a nearby nature park. This place is so beautiful…and it’s only 5 minutes from us! It also brought back some memories from my grade school fieldtrip days. I tried to get Chris to do a trust fall with me, but he wasn’t interested 😉
We also did a little geocaching and had much better luck this time (thanks to the $10 app upgrade)! It was just nice to spend the afternoon getting fresh air and exploring with my favorite people.

On my latest Target run (which if you follow me on Instagram, you know it ended with a lunatic toddler throwing his own shoes), I came away with some new wardrobe staples. Boyfriend crops (obsessed!), white jean leggings (I can’t bring myself to call them jeggings), and a pretty little beaded tassel necklace that I couldn’t pass up. I’m trying really hard to only buy things that are versatile this spring and summer…and I think I’m on the right track. Spoiler alert: I’ll probably be pairing the white jeans with flip flops instead of high heels… 😉

We did a little more geocaching this weekend, too! However, I’m pretty sure I need to just bite the bullet and go for the full upgrade. And that nature park/center is one I’ve never been to! I’m thinking it’s going to make it on our list of things to do while we’re home this summer.
Also – I was thisclose to snagging those white jean leggings on my last Target run. But, I did snag those boyfriend jeans you suggested, my new pant staple.
