One of the highlights of our “Fat Hog” weekend was getting to throw a baby shower for my sister-in-law, Kelly. She and my brother-in-law are expecting their first (a girl!) in August, and we’re all pretty darn excited about it!
Let me just start by saying this was the easiest baby shower I’ve ever helped host–and that’s because of my mother-in-law. She asked me to tell her what we needed, then just show up and decorate. So basically, she let me have all the fun!
When it came to planning, the first thing we did was select an invitation. I was looking for something sweet and floral that would look good in the rustic barn, and these flowery feeling invitations from Tiny Prints fit the bill perfectly!
The invitations arrived quickly, along with the kraft envelopes and address labels. It all looked so cute together that I couldn’t wait to get them out to everyone on the guest list.
With the invitations as our starting point, we went for a sweet and rustic look for the shower. I love the way the red cowboy boots, doilies, bandanas, and fresh flowers looked against the barn backdrop.
One of my favorite pieces of shower decor is always a framed invitation. It obviously matches the rest of the decor…plus it’s something that the guest of honor can take home when it’s over. Also, how cute are these boots?!?
The cookies we had made were a big hit! And how could they not be when they tasted as amazing as they looked??
Kelly and Taylor got so many great things…and we had a blast showering them (and baby!) with love.
I sure can’t wait to meet this little cowgirl!
disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Tiny Prints, but the opinions are all my own.

I love it! We teased Gabbie that we want to have her bat mitzvah in a barn, but she didn’t like that idea!
