two. If you’re shopping the Nordstrom Anni Sale this morning, you might as well add this plaid blanket scarf to your cart right this minute. As much as I’m loving all things summer, this makes me SOOOO excited for FALL!

four. I said I’d never complain about the heat when we moved from Houston to KC. But OMGosh…it’s so HOT!!!! We’ve been trying to stay cool with lots of trips to the pool and a cold treat every now and then. There are few things that tastes as good as a slushy on a steamy day!
five. Watch out Branson…we’re coming for you! I’m so excited to kick off this trip that we’re taking with my whole family. I’m especially looking forward to taking Arden to Silver Dollar City. She’s never been to an amusement park, and lucky for her, she meets the height requirements to ride all the good rides! Being tall for your age can have its advantages 😉 Things will probably be a little quiet on the blog next week, but I can promise you plenty of over-sharing on Instagram and Snapchat.

Ahhh you are going to have a blast on the trip! Can’t wait to see pics on IG. We are going to Hershey, PA the following week and going to the kids’ park Dutch Wonderland as well as Hershey Park. I’m so excited to see Ben’s reaction to the little kid rides. Have a blast!

Mason just hit the height requirement for almost all of the big kid rides at Disneyland and it made my day! I’m so excited to take him on all the cool rides now!

i moved from houston to chicago and i said the SAME THING. i will never complain about the heat. i figured i’d have plenty to complain about with our brutal winters. buuuuuuuut it’s been 100 degrees here and i actually join my kids in getting wet at the splash pads lately. my husband has to constantly remind me how brief the heat is here and how it lasts foreeeeeeever in houston.
It’s been so hot here I’ve found myself dreaming of cozy sweaters and scarves while shopping the sale….and I’m not even a fan of winter! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!!
