During our 4 years in Texas, I came to love almost everything about the place. Everything except for fire ants…and sweating through the fall. Needless to say, one of the things I’ve been looking forward to most now that we’re back in Kansas is bundling up for chilly weather! Check back with in with me in January and I’m sure I’ll be dreaming of being on a patio somewhere in Houston…but for now, I’m so excited about boots, scarves, and everything cozy.
I was recently asked to do a review on the JJ Cole Urban BundleMe, so when the temperatures took a dip on Sunday, we headed out to the park to give our cozy new accessory a test drive!
The first thing I noticed about the BundleMe was the quality. It’s extremely well-made, zips nicely, and the inside is super soft and comfy. Basically, you take one look at it on a cold day and wish you were getting zipped up in it!
The first time we put Arden in it, she just kept giggling like it was the best thing ever. Then on the walk to the park she told me, “I’m snuggling, momma!”
PROS:
-Easy to install
-Multiple slots for adjusting shoulder straps
-Machine washable
-Removable top piece for temperature control
-Compatible with most strollers (regular and jogging)
Outer zip-pocket
Looks great!
CONS:
The only con I could find was that Arden’s legs are almost too long. Granted she is very tall for a 2-year-old (38 inches) and she had some pretty clunky boots on. Without the boots, I’d say this will definitely last her until spring…and I know we’ll put it to good use again when baby #2 is old enough!
I’m also planning to purchase the infant size to use for the little guy’s car seat. After the mild summer we had, I think we may all FREEZE this winter!!!
I don’t know why, but I’m a sucker for pockets. This one if the perfect size for a phone, snacks, keys, etc.
One piece of advice when using your BundleMe: don’t get so excited that you forget to put a coat on your child. Whoops! It was pretty chilly, but luckily Arden was running a million miles an hour, and able to keep warm. Still, I’ll try not to make that mistake again! At least she had shoes on, right?!? 😉
I was initially a little worried that my active 2-year-old wouldn’t like the feeling of being zipped up and confined in the BundleMe, but I have to say–she loved it. And the best part is, she can’t kick it off like a regular blanket…which means longer walks and fewer tire marks on my blankets 🙂
I think that face pretty much says it all!
The JJ Cole Bundle Me is available at BuyBuyBaby and Babies R Us.
Stay warm out there, friends!
***I was gifted this BundleMe by JJ Cole, but the opinions are all my own!***

Whoa!! This thing is GENIUS! Mia totally needs one!! I still run in the winter but it is often negative degrees outside… miserable! This would be a life saver to have in our stroller!
She is such a doll! Love the park pictures!!

I love the BundleMe! We're using ours for Mim's carseat and it's amazing! How I didn't have one of these with Mac is a mystery. It's genius!
