Hi friends!
First of all, thank you all so much for the kind words and congratulations…they mean so much! We’re getting settled in as a family of 4 and loving every minute with our sweet little Nash.
There are so many things that I’ve wanted to blog about the past two weeks…and also many times that I’ve thought “I should probably clean this house”…but alas, I’ve done neither 🙂 Instead I’ve enjoyed countless hours on the couch with my little snuggler, and every other playing with his big sister–trying to make things feel as normal as possible for her. Although Arden’s pretty smitten with her baby brother, she’s still adjusting to the idea of sharing mommy’s time…but that’s another post for another day!
So today I’m joining my sweet friend Darci for a little Five on Friday hodgepodge.
Basically squeezing a bunch of posts into one. I’m all about time management these days 😉
ONE.
We had an awesome Halloween! It started off with costumes at dance class and ended with trick-or-treating and pumpkin pie at my sister’s house. It’s good to be back in Kansas…for the weather and the family!
TWO.
This song.
My friend Lauren shared it with me right after Nash was born and I can’t stop listening to it and crying like a baby. A perfect anthem for this season of our lives…
“And though I’m tired, you’re worth every sleepless night”
THREE.
Eight years ago I met a cute Lambda Chi during Homecoming week. After the parade I half-jokingly (half-not!) told my friends that I was going to marry him…little did I know 😉
This picture just makes me happy…
FOUR.
Wednesday was my first day riding solo with both babes…and guess what? We survived!!! It was actually pretty great 🙂
We may have stayed in our PJs all day, but I did manage to get everyone out the door for a walk in the amazing fall weather. The fresh air was good for us all!
FIVE.
Ali did it again. She’s a miracle-worker, I tell you!
Here’s a little peak at Nash’s newborn pics. I’m in LOVE!!!
Happy weekend, everyone!
XOXO

Pics are perfect! Arden looks so in love! So precious!
I love Bethany Dillon so I'll be looking that up rightthisminute. My go-to song to remind me why being a mom is awesome 😉 is really anything by JJ Heller, but mostly "I Get to Be". Listen to it! Sob. Fest. 🙂

congrats on baby nash! Those pics are adorable! We're about to go from a family of 3 to a family of 4 too!! Glad things are going pretty well for you!

Why is it so hard to get two under two (in my case) out the door for just a walk??? Ha, I totally hear you on calling that a success. I think in a month we've managed it twice, without someone crying. Love the pictures, so sweet!
