Happy Friday everyone! We’re at the lake enjoying some family time this weekend, so I’m gonna hop right to it!
Remember my newborn with a full head of dark hair? Well somehow he’s been replaced with this giant toddler who’s getting blonder by the day! The summer sun is bleaching out his hair and (unlike his sister and me) tanning his skin too! Lucky boy…
I’m so lucky that one of my best friends in Texas also happens to originally be from KC…because it means I get to see her more often! Arden and her boyfriend Henry were reunited this week–and they picked up right where they left off. I mean…have you ever seen anything cuter than this?
All I know is we’re totally using these pictures in their wedding slideshow 😉
My most recent post for the Kansas City Moms Blog went live this week and I’ve been amazed at the response from friends, acquaintances–even strangers. It breaks my heart that so many struggle with infertility, but I’m also so incredibly thankful for the community that it’s created. Thanks for reading…and thanks for sharing your hearts with me.
Scrolling through my photos from the week, I realized that I’ve taken a lot from a bird’s eye perspective. Arden and Nash have just been so into each other lately–and I think pictures from above really capture their sweet interactions. Also, they think turning on the bathtub jets is the best thing EVER.
Somebody. Quick. I need a good reason to buy this skirt! Actually, the whole Who What Wear collection at Target is calling my name. I’m just not sure I could show up at a playdate in a pencil skirt 😉
Have a great weekend, friends!

Your blondies are adorable! I’m swooning over your wood floors. If you know the details on them – would you mind to share? firstname.lastname@example.org
I read some of your infertility story on your blog. I also had IVF with my first. Luckily after that, things started working for me. But I appreciate how you share your story! Enjoy the lake!
I mean I think that skirt would be totally acceptable, hahaha! It is so cute!
The run and hug!!! SO CUTE! You for sure need to keep those for the wedding slide show!
My aunt asked me if I had a drone flying around taking all of my pictures because so many of them are from the birds eye perspective lolol.
Happy Friday, V!
Oh enjoy the lake with your family!!!!
