Hello friends and happy Friday!!!!
Today I’m joining Darci, Natasha, April & Christina for a little F.O.F. fun…and this time it’s all about our first week back in Kansas.
ONE.
It didn’t take this lady long to make herself at home at Gigi & Papa’s. What kind of new roommate strips down to their underwear and demands Mickey Mouse the minute they arrive anyway?!?
Good thing she’s so darn cute…
TWO.
My parents live in the country, which gives Arden lots of opportunities to play outside and explore.
It’s been a little chilly this week, but thankfully things are supposed to warm up on Sunday–which means we can make a few more visits to see our new neighbors!
Moooooo….
THREE.
We spent some time at my sister’s house this week and these two cousins had so much fun together (as usual). The best part was saying goodbye and knowing that it only meant a couple of days, rather than a couple months!!!
This makes everything worth it 🙂
FIVE.
To try and keep things as normal as possible for Arden during this transition, I took her to a couple activities this week that she’s used to back in Texas. We went to the gym (which looked EXACTLY like our old one, so I’m pretty sure she thought she was there. It made the childcare drop off easy-peasy!) and we checked out the local MyGym class. Although it looked a little different from the one back in Houston, she didn’t seem phased–she walked in and acted like she owned the place 🙂
The only heartbreaker was that she asked for her friends Henry and Sawyer that she usually sees at those activities. That’s a good way to make your mom cry, Arden! 🙁
FIVE.
It may not be much to look at right now, but our house is coming along! Drywall went up this week and the trim is happening next week! Going out to check on the progress is definitely going to become a hobby of mine 🙂
On top of all this, I’ve gotten to catch up with friends, spend lots of time with my parents, and hear one little nugget’s heartbeat at the first appointment with my new doctor. Pretty great first week if you ask me!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! 🙂

How fun that your bAck and able to spend time with family without the "I'm leaving in a few days" feeling! Just to let you know I do kindermusik with Scarlett and it's probably one of my favorite activities I do with her in kc. I'm not sure where you are at but it's in brookside. They just ended school year classes but they have some great summer classes!

Cow neighbors make excellent neighbors haha! It is so fun to move back to family, we did that from CO to FL. It was so nice having all those lovely faces to see all the time! Just a little sad that Arden was asking for her TX friends, I'm sure she'll make lots of new ones though.
I'm excited to see your homes progress too! Love stuff like that.
