Alright, I'm calling it… this playroom is open and ready for business! It may have taken FOUR months to complete, but I'm glad we didn't rush it. Sometimes I get an itch to "finish" a room and I just start buying crap things that I don't really love…then inevitably I'm ready to redecorate a few months later. While I'm sure the room will still change and evolve a lot as Arden gets older, I think the basic pieces are ones that we'll be happy with for awhile. ...
Come See Me!
Hi friends! Today you can find me over at The Girls in the Red Shoes talking about my breastfeeding experience thus far. I absolutely love Julie's blog {just wait until you see her handsome little man, Hudson!} and I'm so excited to be a part of this awesome series! So hop on over there now and check it out :) ...
Raincheck
Attention: Mother's Day has been rescheduled. At least at our house it has :) Last week our family passed around the stomach bug like a game of hot potato…and let's just say, Chris lost. Poor guy had it way worse than Arden and I did and he was still struggling on Sunday. Sooner or Later…

I have a problem. Whenever I take a cute picture of Arden it seriously pains me not to share it with someone! And since I don't want to annoy my Facebook and Instagram friends (not every day, anyway--ha!), I'm going to steal Krista's idea and start doing a Friday phone dump on the ol' blog. 1. Arden's first swimming lesson! 2. I got in trouble after taking the first picture (gym rules?!), so I had to be sneaky with this one. I love how Chris is hidden behind the ...
Rompers, Bubbles and Jumpsuits…Oh My!
It's warming up in Texas and I'm packing away the long sleeves to make space in Arden's closet for some super cute summer clothes. I didn't realize until recently how AWESOME bubbles and rompers are…they're low maintenance, "flash-free," and seriously the most adorable things on earth. Heck, if it were acceptable for grown women to wear them, I would. Ehhh…scratch that…that's weird ;) Here are a few of my favorite bubbles, rompers and jumpsuits out there right now. And ...
