We have been getting pictures of our new puppy each week from the breeder. They are hilarious because so far they've all had themes. I like to call this one "God Bless America"... ...

Puppy Love
So you may remember this post from Chris back in February. I am pleased to report that the no-indoor-dog-farm-kid will soon become the proud papa of a darling French Bulldog the first week of July!!! I've been in touch with a breeder in NE Missouri since January, so we were pretty excited to get the e-mail on May 1st telling us 2 boys and 2 girls had been born! We were pretty sure we wanted one of the boys, but decided to make a little roadtrip to Unionville on Saturday and pick it out ...
Makeover
Well, we've been in this house about half a year and I'm finally ready to share pictures of our living room. Okay, but seriously…married life is a blast. I get to come home and hang out with my best friend everyday AND it's like having hired help--he mows, weedeats, hangs pictures, curtains, you name it! Just kidding…kind of ...
It’s been too long…
Scratch that, it's been WAY too long since I've done any decorating projects! When I lived in Prairie Village, I loved finding stuff at flea markets and garage sales that I could paint and morph into the shabby chic, cottage style I love. But that was Prairie Village, in a 70 year old home…it just worked. Now that we live in a 5 year old home, I've found it really challenging to mix the old (my style) and the new (our house). But little by little, I'm making progress and I think kind of ...
