You know when your heart is telling you to do something, but your head is telling you HECCCCCK NO? That’s the place I’ve been recently, while tossing around the idea of starting a Facebook group. I know, it’s just a Facebook group…what could be so scary? Well the nerve-wracking part is that I decided to step away from a perfectly great part-time gig to pursue this group. So yeah, that gave me the shivers and instantly had me doubting myself.
But at some point I let my heart win…and over the weekend, I went for it! My stomach still feels a little queasy, but Sunflower Steals is officially up and running–and I’m having a blast!
So what is it, exactly? It’s a space where I’ll share daily deals, product reviews, and favorite things. I’m hoping that my passion for shopping and finding great prices will help other people to save money and spend less time searching. By the way, if you call shopping a “passion”, your husband can’t be mad about the money you spend doing it. ? I’m also hoping it’ll become a community, where we can share deals, ideas, and even Bachelor recaps. You know, the important things in life!
Yesterday was day one and I was BLOWN away. Thanks to some awesome friends and family, the group just kept growing and growing. I’m already excited about what today will bring!
If you haven’t joined Sunflower Steals yet and WANT to, I’d love to have you! And if you have 10 friends who you think might be interested, add them and you’ll be entered to win a Barefoot Dreams cardigan!! AKA…wearable heaven. ? This post has all the details!
I’m extremely grateful for the last opportunity I had, but I’m also crazy excited about this new adventure. Hopefully the change will also mean that I’ll have more time for blogging…because I am determined to tell you all about our Mexico trip before we hit the three month mark!!! ??
Cheers to good deals!
XO,
Vanessa
