I say it every time I finish decorating a nursery, but Hartley’s room really is my favorite room in the house. As it should be, right? I mean, think about how much time we spend in our babies’ rooms that first year. It seems like they should be places that we love and love to be!
This room used to be Nash’s nursery…and while I adored his navy walls, painting them a soft gray transformed the whole room and gave it such a light and airy feeling. It also proved Chris’ love for me. Ha! I wish I had a picture of his face when I told him I wanted to paint over the (very dark) navy we’d put on the walls two years earlier 😉
My favorite part of the entire room is the shiplap accent wall. For obvious reasons, right? I think it’s just dreamy and I wish I had one in my room. Lucky Hartley…
I just love how happy this space feels. Hopefully Hartley will feel the same way as she gets older…and hopefully she won’t realize that it’s significantly smaller than her siblings’ rooms. Sometimes being the baby is hard 😉
