Happy Friday, friends! I know I’ve been MIA from the ol’ blog lately…I’ve been MIA from the shower too, which is much more embarrassing. Oh but someday I’ll have time to blog and shower more…right? 😉

But for now, it’s Friday and I’ve got 5 random thoughts…so let’s hop to it!

one. Today’s the last day for BOGO 1/2 off shoes at Target. I snagged these 2 pairs (for less than $40 total!) and loooooove them both. Can you believe the sandals are way comfier than my real Birkenstocks?!? They might be my go-tos this summer!

two. I got to spend some much needed one-on-one time with Arden this week at her school’s Mom’s Night. We did a science experiment, read books, made a craft, played centers, and decorated cookies. The time together was just what we both needed!

And in case you’ve ever wanted to know more about me…I sing a lot of Sharon, Lois & Bram…I love Quest bars more than regular food…and I tell a mean joke. Yep, I’d say she pretty much nailed  it 😉

I’m not sure how we got so lucky with this sweet kid…

three. Easter is finally here! We’ve got a weekend full of egg hunts, family time, and food ahead…but the real reason for the celebration is not lost. Nash came out of Mother’s Day Out yesterday telling me “Jesus is Alive!” 🙂

four. I finally pulled the trigger on this double hoodie that I’d had my eye on for months…maybe even a year?!? And let me tell you–it’s just as lovely as I’d imagined. I got my normal medium on this one, but will probably size up to a large the next time for a more relaxed fit. I want this in EVERY color!

Oh and word on the street is there’s a big sale happening Monday at Mindy Mae’s Market. Can’t. Wait.

five. Happy Birthday to this handsome fella! Doesn’t look a day over 32, does he?! 😉
We LOVE you, Chris! Can’t wait to celebrate you tonight…aka order in Chinese and watch DVRed television. Get excited!!!! Ha!
