So I’ve kind of neglected this little ol’ blog the past couple of weeks…too much summer fun to be had, I suppose! We’re crossing things off of our bucket list left and right, and having a great time doing it. So instead of a real, thought-out blog post for you today…I’ve just got the first 5 random things that come to my head. Aren’t you excited?!? 😉
one.
Speaking of our summer bucket list, we finally got a slip n slide and put it to good use yesterday! My sister’s kids and Arden played on it for a solid TWO hours. We also got some of these Zuru water balloons, which were a hit. Whoever invented them…genius!
Since Nash napped through the party, we let him have his turn after dinner last night. He scooted down a few times, but was really most interested in the hose…and breaking a record for heaviest diaper. Ha!

Anybody have Netflix series recommendations? We started The Killings the other night…and as much as I love a good murder mystery, I can’t handle ones where kids are involved. Nope…just can’t. So I’d love to hear what your favorites are!

Arden, my picky eater, has suddenly decided that she’s not really a berry lover. (Say what?!) So the other day at lunch I told her she needed to eat one blackberry, one blueberry, and one raspberry before she could get down and play. She looked at me with a serious look and said, “okay, but it’s gonna take me awhile to pick all the little hairs off of this raspberry!”
One for the quote book, for sure!

I have a confession…I just started using Snapchat in last couple months. I know, I know…old lady alert! I’ve had an account forever, but felt way too overwhelmed (also OLD) when I tried to figure it all out. Then my girlfriends in Texas gave me a crash course on our girls weekend…and I’ve been kind of hooked ever since. And my kids…they live for the selfie filters…

I’ve had snapchat for a while and never figured it out. But then yesterday our babysitter showed carter the different filters and he loved it. So we spent a good 20 minutes taking selfies and trying to figure it out!
They are too cute! I love that insta account too! I’m on snapchat too but still can’t figure it out!
Start watching Bloodline on Netflix. I also loved Grace & Frankie a ton.

Haha I think all kids love those snapchat filters. Mason’s favorite is the puppy, I’m so happy that one is always on there. That picture of Nash in the wet diaper is hilarious! Those things hold. So. Much. Liquid!

We just started Turn: Washington’s Spies on Netflix and Brad and I both are so into it.

Love the Nash snapchat. I don’t actually use my SC account, I just use the filters for fun, haha. The bumble bee one today was so funny…the voice was making us laugh so hard. We have binged a bunch of shows. We just finished Bloodline. It was a little dark for me, but I got into it after three episodes or so. Let me know if you find anything good.

You MUST watch Parenthood if you haven’t seen it already! Hubs and I binge-watched the entire six seasons last summer and it was incredible! It is now right up there with my favorite shows of all time! You will want to be a Braverman, that’s for sure!
I just wrote about how I couldn’t figure out Snapchat!!! I had to look up a youtube video and ask my younger sisters how to use it. (eye roll) Glad I’m not the only one!
