Happy Thursday! Is it just me or has this week flown by? Maybe it’s the anticipation of the holiday weekend…but I feel like I blinked and it’s almost Friday! #notcomplaining
So I need some help. I’ve been staring at this blank space on my wall for two years now…just waiting for the perfect piece of wall art to walk into my life.
Well, since that hasn’t happened yet, I’ve decided to take things into my own hands and do a little Etsy research. I think a long “farmhouse” sign would be great…I just can’t make a decision on the style. Which one is your favorite? I’m leaning towards the bottom left, but I really like all of them. Decisions, decisions…
In other important news, anyone end up loving the Real Housewives of Dallas as much as I did? I’m watching the reunion as I write this…and wowza!! Why is it that the plastic surgeon husbands always end up being my favorites? Ha!
This lotion is our new bug spray for the summer. It can be tough to track down at stores, but I’m lucky to have a mom that buys a cart full every time she finds them 😉 It smells so good and I haven’t had a bite since I started using it…
Something wonderful happened this week. The stars aligned, the heavens sang…and Nash sat through an entire movie in the theaters! We all loved Finding Dory…and the unlimited popcorn!

WE LOVED Dory!!!! First time both my girls sat through it (I fed Avalon and let her sleep!) and it was glorious!

The Farmhouse #3 sign is made locally (I see that you are in KC..I’m in Lawrence) by a shop called Adorned Decor! She sells them on Mass Street in Lawrence, but lives in Eudora I believe if you wanted to see them in person.
You two in the matching swim suits is amazing. Also, how the heck did you get Nash to pose like that on the Finding Dory sign? Omgosh, adorable! Love the farmhouse signs. It is so hard to choose. Love the signs. I like number 1 best. I want to go see Finding Dory so bad, but have to find a babysitter for my toddler tornado because there’s no way she will sit through it. We also want to see Secrets Life of Pets. 🙂
I like the 4th farmhouse sign with the bit of a weathered look! I love that Old Navy has prints that you can match with your daughter! Fun! I wanted our theater to have a Finding Dory set up like that for photos, but it didn’t. Oh well. Glad you got to see it!
I like the bottom left Farmhouse sign too, and it ties in with the console table behind the couch I see in the right corner of the photo!
Those Farmhouse signs are so charming. I love 3 and 4, I’m sure you’ll pick the perfect one for your little wall space. Can’t wait to see which one it is. And I’ve never even thought to use baby lotion as bug repellent. I’ll have to be on the lookout for that one to use this summer!

I don’t think you can go wrong with any of those signs but I think the top right is my favorite. And finding dory really was great! I’m hoping Noah is up for seeing the secret life of pets too… It looks so funny!
