I think I’m due for some confessions, friends!
I confess…I almost forgot Hazel’s 6th birthday. Before kids I baked her doggy cakes and we even took her to the beach one year (omg, what?!?!)–now she gets a spoonful of peanut butter and a belly rub. At least I remembered to bring out the birthday hat that she loves so much (/not at all).
I confess…speaking of Hazel, I’m currently suffering through her gassiness just because I love to have her snuggled up to me. But seriously…I might need to invest in a gas mask.
I confess…I could eat these Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Quest bars for every single meal. I’ve been ordering them for a couple of years now and I never ever get tired of this flavor. A little tip: zap it in the microwave for 10 seconds…it’s like eating a warm, gooey cookie for breakfast! Mmmmmm.
I confess…I’m not sure if I’ll ever get rid of our baby monitor. I just can’t imagine not being able to roll over at night and check on the kids!
I confess…the inside of my car is straight up embarrassing right now. The crumbs, the smells, the random household items (how did that chip clip get in here?)…it’s all so…yuck. Maybe I should’ve asked for car detailing for Mother’s Day!
I confess…I went to Versona twice in the same day. I knew I should’ve bought that top the first time! Anyway, I’m obsessed with this store…it’s kind of like Forever 21’s more mature, classier step-sister 😉 You should check it out if you haven’t been!
I confess…I let this kid get away with way too much…all because he gives me the cutest looks when he’s up to no good!
I confess…I hear some bloggers talk about their “editorial calendars”. Well my editorial calendar is a few scribbles in my planner–and whatever strikes my fancy the day (or night!) before. So professional, I know!
Happy Friday Eve, friends!

Happy Birthday, Hazel! Love her little party hat. We have the same one! 🙂

Too funny about forgetting the dog’s birthday. Yeah, that happens once you have kids! I don’t have an editorial calendar either. I do have a calendar where I write down my posts though! lol.

HBD Cute Hazel! Confession: We’ve had to celebrate Bruiser’s bday a week late…a couple times. LOL VERSONA?! I always walked right past thinking it looked expensive, now I need to check it out…maybe over my lunch break! Thanks!! 😉

Oh I can so relate! We used to celebrate big for Diesel and now I hardly remember his birthday. Poor guy! Hazel is a doll and I love the party hat!! And my car is embarrassing right now. I have a friend coming into town this weekend so maybe that will give me the motivation to clean it. Ha. We’ll see. That picture of Nash is awesome.

Thanks for linking up! I love a good puppy birthday and her hat is adorbs! I like you have no editorial calendar and not even a scribble on a planner!
Leslie @ Martin Manifesto says
I think I’m going to have to give those Quest bars a try! Also…with that ornery little look, Nash could probably get away with murder at my house! 🙂 He’s too much!

Hazel is so cute. Love that picture with the birthday hat. My dog get the worst gas as well, but he is just too cute not to cuddle with so I grin and bear it. Thank you for linking up with us today.

Happy Birthday Hazel! We bought a cake for our dog but still haven’t given it to her yet. Time slips away with kiddos! I totally agree with you on keeping the baby monitor. I can’t imagine not being able to check on them in the middle of the night.
Meghan says
Oh yeah my car is getting bad too and thinking I should have asked for detailing too!

So funny about taking Hazel to the beach, and seriously, my blogging calendar is the same. some ideas on a to-do list and maybe something in an actual calendar if its sponsored otherwise, things are thought, written, and posted immediately or never at all….
Jessica says
It must be something about the youngest child because I’m the same way with Emmy. She’s just too stinking cute when she’s doing something she shouldn’t. Happy birthday Hazel!

Poor Kinnick’s birthday often gets overlooked, too…and then I’ll remember a few days later. (Btw, happy birthday, Hazel! And the beach?! I’m dying!!) And yep to Versona! I stopped there on Monday to pick up a giftcard for my mom and it took everything I had not to pull every shirt off the rack and head to the dressing room! Good thing I was in a hurry to get the kids from daycare. Apparently, I need to try those Quest bars, but I’m a little scared for the addiction that could follow…
Hannah says
haha. Nash. He would be getting away with all of the things around here! How do little boys know that look to give you that makes your frustration dissipate in a moment – even when they are doing something that they know they should not be doing?
Elizabeth says
Haha! Yes, editorial calendar… I use the monthly part of my planner to try to plan some blog posts, but mainly it just tells me days I HAVE to post (like if I’m hosting a link up or if I am sharing something with someone on a specific day), but other than that, it’s a free for all.
I confessed a few weeks ago that I love having my baby monitor too! I may never get rid of it until it dies. I love being able to check on Mason whenever I want without needing to open the door and risk waking him up!

That picture is priceless!
Courtney says
My editorial calendar looks the same :p
Also- those quest bars! How have I never heard of those? 21g of protein! Ordering!
Desiree says
Before kids (and when we lived in KC) I would drive to the Plaza to Three Dog Bakery and buy Drake an entire CAKE for his birthday. I’d then round up our friends who owned dogs so they could play together and share the cake. What in the?! Now I’m lucky if I remember to give him a rawhide on his birthday.
Car detailing would have been the best idea for a gift. We have so many crumbs and sand in our car, it’s ridiculous.
Editorial calendar. HA.HA.HA. I love it when bloggers talk about their calendar. I just wing it!

Editorial calendar… ha ha, that is funny!!! x
