As I write this, Chris and I are sitting on the screened-in porch, fire on, watching the Royals beat play the Mets. Although I don’t claim to be the world’s biggest baseball fan, this team has won my heart over the last couple years. Like the rest of Kansas City, I’m invested in these guys…and I’m SO happy they’re back! I always say that Kansas City got really cool while we were away in Texas…but honestly, this team has taken it to a whole new level. The pride people have for KC is amazing–and you can feel it even more on days like this!
When I set out to get a pic of the kids and myself in our Royals gear, I had no idea that there would be 9,000 mph winds that day. Luckily we got one decent pic before my hair turned into a giant rat’s nest. Oh and I’m considering getting Nash’s belly its own Instagram account. What do you think? 😉
Funny story about these boyfriend crops I got last week. When I pulled them off the rack Arden said, “Ohhh, Daddy is going to love those!” (As in, she thought they were for him…ha!) And when I tried them on but decided to get another size, she said, “Yeah, you don’t want those…they have holes in them.” Well I went against my 3-year-old’s fashion advice…and I love them!
This sweatshirt is my favorite ever. So soft, comfy and cute.
Oh and I think I’m finally getting the hang of the curling wand…hooray!
