I don’t have anything really profound to say about yesterday…but we made it through it as a family. And to be honest, there were even a few bright spots. Thank you all for your love and support. We appreciate it more than you could know.

This sweet little face has kept me smiling lately. I want to turn this picture into wallpaper and plaster it all over my house. I love him so!

Have you ever been geocaching? I had heard of it but never fully understood what it was until I read Sarah’s beginner’s guide to geocaching with kids. I was intrigued! So this week we took Arden and her cousin Luke out for a little adventure at a nearby lake. The “caches” turned out to be too spread out for Arden’s little legs, but the one we found was pretty exciting…and we all got some good exercise 😉 We actually found another one just down the hill from our house when we got home, which was pretty cool! I can’t wait to try a new spot some time!

Is it 1995? Because I am totally crushing on these Birkenstocks. And these too, but I think I would wear the suede more often. They have me dreaming of summer and shorts…but you know, not the white leg part 😉

Don’t forget to link up next week for “Hooray it’s Opening Day!” This display at good ol’ Wally World had me all sorts of excited about the Royals home opener. I mean, how cool is this?!?
Have a great weekend, friends 🙂

I splurged on some Birks last summer and seriously wore them every day. You won’t regret it 🙂

Hi Vanessa,
If you like the geocaching idea also look into “letterboxing”.When my daughter was young, she and my husband loved this activity. She says she liked it better than geocaching.
Have a great weekend!
Vanessa says
Cool! I’ve never heard of letterboxing, but I’m checking it out now!!! Thanks Lisa!

Birks! I bought my 1st ever pair last summer but not before asking several friends if I was a total nerd for wanting some! HA! I work them ALL summer! I already have the pair I want for this summer picked out! Get ya some, you won’t be sorry!

Love that photo of Nash. I’m so glad those beautiful kids of yours being you the sunshine you need at the most important moments. Also, excited for the link up. I told my husband about it and he’s even excited (beinf baseball related and all), haha!

Don’t tell anyone, but I’ve been wearing my Birkenstock clogs since 1995! I had no idea they had shiny gold sandals, though! And that picture of Nash…you have to enter it somewhere – it’s perfect!!

Love Birks!! I still have a pair that I wear from high school. They are so comfy and excellent for chasing kiddos.

WOW!!! That is quite the display at Walmart! Impressive. They don’t do anything nearly that cool around here for the Angels LOL.
Courtney says
Oh you know I’ll be all about the opening day link up. GO ROYALS!!

Those babes of yours are the greatest rays of sunshine.
Those Birks!! I’ve secretly wanted a pair for ages. Might need to invest this summer.
Holy moly, that Walmart display is awesome. I can’t wait to see everyone all decked out in their gear!
