I remember it like it was yesterday. I was running at the gym (read: mostly walking), waiting for another episode of House Hunters to start on the treadmill TV. What I got instead was the premier of a new show called Fixer Upper. It took me about 7 seconds to fall in love…and I’ve never looked back. First of all, cutest couple ever. Can we all agree on that? Secondly, Joanna’s modern farmhouse design style speaks to my heart! I’d give my right arm to have her decorate my house…but since we now live a long way from Waco, I suppose I’m going to have to attempt it myself!
Although the prices on the Magnolia Market website aren’t too bad, I’ve found some great deals at stores like Target, World Market and Amazon that will help you (and me!) get the Fixer Upper look we all desire…without breaking the bank.

Hahaha, yes!! I love their style!! I have found so many great pieces at Target, of course! IKEA is second, in my book. It’s a good thing that the closest store is two hours away!

I am obsessed with Fixer Upper! I agree that they are the cutest couple ever. Everything about the show just makes me happy. JoJo’s decorating style is so awesome. I honestly can’t do that sort of decorating myself, but I would also give my right arm for her to come do it for me. 🙂
