My favorite gifts to give during Christmas are the little ones…and not just because it gives me an excuse to make frequent trips to Target. It’s been especially fun this year because Arden’s been my little sidekick elf–helping me pick out the presents, making cards to go along with them, and her favorite part of all: delivering the goodies.
For her two preschool teachers (who we ADORE), we put together a little “warm & cozy” gift bag. It included slippers, a candle, a Starbucks giftcard…and of course, some handmade artwork from Arden herself. She was so excited to deliver these to her sweet teachers yesterday and it just made my heart happy to see her experience the joy of giving firsthand.
Next…can you look at this picture without laughing? Because I CANNOT!
I can’t say this was the cleanest craft project we’ve ever done, but it sure did turn out cute. I love how you can tell how chubby Nash is just from his handprint. Love those little sausage fingers…
We made 2 of these–one for each set of grandparents…but I’m thinking we need to make one more so I can keep it for myself!
Last year I shared a movie night gift idea and printable that we gave to our neighbors. Well I’m so incredibly creative that I decided to do it again this year. The good news is though, we’ve met a lot of new neighbors in the last year, so this is the first time that most of them will receive it…
This gift is super easy, and super inexpensive–but it’s so fun to give! You can find the instructions and printable here.
See what I mean? Fun to give!
My little elf worked up an appetite making deliveries so we decided to bake some of my sister’s famous chex mix when we got home. If I can get her to sign off on the top secret recipe, I’ll share it tomorrow on my Five on Friday. Hint: lots of butter and worcestershire sauce are necessary.
Can you even believe we’re 8 days from Christmas?!? Is there any way to slow it down so we can enjoy this holiday cheer just a little longer?

The reindeer craft!! I laughed out loud! Ha ha. Love the teacher gifts. Similar to what we are doing. Homemade Chex Mix is where it's at. Yum!!

I mean, of course we both posted about teacher gifts today!!! Add another similarity to the list!! Thank you for the movie-themed neighbor gift! Craig (aka father of the year) didn't waste a single second and popped the popcorn right away. He also gave our kids the Mike & Ikes…20 minutes before dinner. So needless to say, we enjoyed it! Arden has to be the cutest little elf and that Nash reindeer–oh my goodness!!! Hope to hang out with those two cuties (and their mom) over break!

You have been a busy little elf indeed! Liam was so excited to give his teacher's their gifts. I love seeing little ones get into the giving spirit.

Umm seriously how cute are you with your neighbor gifts?! I NEVER thought to do this but I'm kind of loving it! I'm trying to figure out some gifts for Mason's teachers (there are 5! eek! but we LOVE them all!) and that red box code is pretty cute. I kinda love it. How did you get the code? Just go to red box.com and buy a gift code?

The reindeer – haha! The cutest!
We delivered gifts to our preschool teachers today. Marcus was BEAMING each time he handed one over. It was the sweetest thing to see.
The RedBox gifts are such a great idea! We may have to borrow this idea for next year!

Oh! So glad you reminded me about your awesome teacher gift. I had already made coffee mugs and bought strabucks giftcards last year so I'm doing this now for our daycares and my neighbors!
