Hey Friday, nice to see you again 🙂 We’ve got a big day ahead so I’m going to make this short and sweet! Here we go…
one.
When we picked Arden up from preschool on Wednesday, she came running at us with the biggest smile on her face–and this in her hand. She said, “look what I made for you, Nash!” They just started working on their names in school (which totally impressed me), but I had no idea she could do this. Every time I look at this little masterpiece I get teary-eyed. I mean, would it be weird if I framed it? 😉
two.
Am I the last person to know about Ebates? Seriously amazing! I’m so glad a friend introduced me a few weeks ago because I was able to make some moolah back on all of my online Christmas shopping….which, let’s be honest, is ALL of my Christmas shopping. Erinn even suggests shopping in stores, but making your purchases online to get the cash back through Ebates. So smart! If you’re not doing it, you can use my referral link to sign up here.
three.
I picked up a cute little Advent Calendar at the Junque Drawer last weekend and the kids are loving it. Yesterday Arden tried her best to convince me that it was actually December 4th just so she could dig into another pocket of dollar spot goodies. “No Mommy, it IS the 4th!” 😉
I also printed off these advent bible verse cards to tuck in each pocket. Candy and toys are fun, but I hope the real reason for the season is what shines through.
four.
I’ve been pinning lots of fun Christmas crafts and activities to do with Arden during Nash’s morning naps. This toilet paper roll stamped tree was a big hit…and next week I’m hoping to try this wreath and play a few games of Christmas Bingo. This girl loves her activities and I love that about her!
five.
And now we’re off to see the big jolly guy himself!!! Chris and I are taking the kids to KC Moms Blog’s Mornings with Santa and I can’t wait! Nash is just a tad younger than Arden was in this picture…so I’m expecting something equally as awesome 😉
Happy weekend, friends!!!!

Yay, glad you are finally using Ebates! And way to go Arden for writing Nash's name. Ashlynn has been doing her name (trying), and I love the little funny letters, especially the S.

Little bitty Arden might be one of the cutest things ever!!

What a fun Friday post! So exciting when they come home learning new things. Totally worth framing! I'm on my way to check out Ebates now. Does it work for past online purchases?
Vanessa says
I wish!!! I've forgotten to use it a couple times and I end up kicking myself! Jenni introduced me to Ebates…of course! She's my coupling fairy godmother! 😉

Hahaha gotta love Jenni's idea! I did sign up for it. I wish I had known before I did all my shopping. Online is the way to go now! I was completely done by the 9th. I also discussed your Want Need Wear Read ideas with Dan, we are doing that next year! It's so easy to go overboard, which I will admit happened this year.

Oh man, have so much fun with Santa!! Luckily, Louise is young enough to not know, but I expect a similar picture (or none at all) with Cam!! LOVE those Christmas crafts…I'm definitely stealing one or two to try with Cam!! PS I would TOTALLY frame Nash's name. That's ADORABLE!

I love that advent calendar!

I am SO impressed that Arden can write letters so well! My girl is a month younger than her and only just started trying to write actual letters. I love all those Christmas crafts too; we made a paper-plate tree yesterday, but we might have to try the toilet-paper tube one too. Hope you get some awesome Santa photos 🙂

Ebates! Ahhh…I keep forgetting to use it! Dangit! Love the crafts. Cam and I need to make that toilet paper roll tree. Have a great weekend. 🙂

Oh my goodness…that is amazing that she wrote Nash's name. I would be completely teary-eyed over it too! So sweet. We are doing our big Santa event in town tomorrow. Ben cried last weekend at the local mall Santa, so we will see. I love seeing pics of everyone's reactions 🙂 Happy WEEKEND!

So NOT weird if you frame her Nash picture! It's adorable. And I love your little Christmas tree painting activity… I might have to do that one with my sons. Have a great weekend!

That craft project is a total framer for sure. Hang it up in his room! I positively adore it. And get misty eyed right there with you 🙂 🙂
