Happy FRIDAY! We’ve had a great, Christmasy kind of week…I hope you have too!
one.
Yesterday my parents and I took the kids to Crown Center and Union Station. I love this new tradition we’ve started and I hope the kids will look forward to it every year (like I will) as they get older. But how could they not…is this place magical or what?!?
I still can’t believe Nash actually stayed in the train for the entire ride. I was sure we were going to see him climbing up the mountain of presents in the middle at some point!!
It was a long morning for the kids, but full of sweet Christmas memories.
Here’s a little look at how much Arden has changed over the past year. Now excuse me while I go cry my eyes out…
two.
Why do I spend money on toys when the things my kids love most come from the dollar spot? These glasses have been a hit! Best dollar I’ve spent lately 🙂
three.
I’ve seen this video floating around on Facebook and just had to share.
“What are you doing in here? Taking a picture of all your stuff?”
I die!!! Also, the America flag….yes!
four.
We’ve been having a lot of fun with our elf, Elvis, this month. Arden is totally tickled to find him hanging out in new places and (every once in awhile) doing something silly…but I can’t say that his “watchful eye” is always super effective. The other day when I was making lunch for the kids, Arden walked by Nash, bopped him on top of the head for no reason and then mumbled under her breath, “oh sorry Elvis, that wasn’t very nice was it?” Ohhhh my 😉
five.
I found Arden’s Christmas dress on Amazon of all places this year! I was kind of expecting it to be a flop, but it’s great quality–and soooo adorable! I can’t wait for her to wear it in her first Christmas program tomorrow 🙂
One last thing before I go….congratulations to Bianca Norman, winner of the Mollie & Lou stamp! An email with details will be coming your way today, Bianca!!! Hooray!
Have a great weekend, friends!

That video!!!!! Dying!! Just the other night, I was busted by Craig when snapping a photo of my wrapped Christmas presents. And I would totally stand on a chair to snap a photo of food pre-eating. Sorry husbands….

That place is AMAZING. Almost makes me want to fly to Kansas just to check it out. So gorgeous and how fun is that train for the kids?! They looked like they were in heaven!

Holy Moly…that place looks amazing!! I need to find somewhere like that here. Such a beautiful tradition. I hope the kids love it as much as you do. 🙂 And goodness Nash has grown since last year. Too fast! Why is it that the cheapest and simplest gifts are the favorites? HA ha!

Union Station, holy moly it's gorgeous! Clearly we need to try and slip down there while we are home for Christmas!

Love the dress! Love the elf with stickers (I might have to steal that idea!). And I showed Instagram husbands to mine and he was nearly crying. Sooo funny!

Oh I love her Christmas dress!!!! Also that looks like such a fun time and the comparison photo is oh so cute. Yay for Nash staying in the train haha. We'd have the same worry with Ben 🙂

That video is too much. Love it! And the elf doesn't do much good at our house either. Although I am thankful Hayden doesn't care much about him because I pretty much forget to move him every day. Oops!
