Sooooo, monthly baby pictures. I kind of dread them. They usually consist of me jumping up and down on a kitchen chair with a camera strapped to my neck, acting like a complete goober just to get a squirmy baby to stay put and not roll away…and that doesn’t even guarantee a smile!
But then at the end of a year you have this. And this?
this. is. everything.
The transformation from a skinny newborn in a sumo diaper, to our sweet & wild little tank is almost too much for my mama heart to handle. The phrase “what a difference a year makes” has never been more true!!!
Tomorrow I’ll be back sharing some of my favorites from Nash’s one year photos…and Friday is the big day–our crazy little guy turns one!
This turned out beautiful and literally priceless. I'm so glad I did it too. I like how you did yours laying down and in his diaper though. Very classic and you did an awesome job (all the jumping up and down paid off)!!!! Happy 12 months to your handsome boy!

YES!!! I said the same thing in a similar post with Holden. Monthly photos are miserable for everyone involved (Craig especially hated when I made him help), but soooo worth it in the end!! Huge sigh of relief that they're done……until baby #3. 🙂 I love the set-up in these, by the way. Great pictures of a pretty cute kid!
OMG I love this! I did Abbie's sitting but I'm thinking with #2 (whenever we get there) I'll do them like this! What a fun collage!
