With Nash turning one in just over a week (say what?!?), I thought I’d share some of the things on his birthday “wishlist”. Okay, so I made the list…but I know he would totally agree with my choices 😉
Kansas Home Tee. Our sweet friends in Houston gave Arden a Texas home tee when we moved, so it seems only fitting that our little Kansas boy should have one that represents the Sunflower State.
K-State Willie Stocking Cap. It’s going to get cold out at The Bill and every little wildcat needs to keep warm in style. Arden’s friend Henry had this hat when he was younger and it was always one of my favorites!
Boy Books. Because I’m not sure how much longer I’m going to get away with reading him Princess Baby and Pinkalicious!!
Toddler Cowboy Boots. Is there anything cuter than a toddler in cowboy boots? Surely not! And since they have rubber soles, Nash may just wear them every single day 🙂
Chiefs Jersey. Are you sensing a theme here? Just trying to make sure the birthday boy is #kcproud
Mega Bloks. If he’s going to be anything like his engineer father, Nash will enjoy building things. I can picture the two of them doing dorky things like building model airplanes together someday…while Arden and I are shopping 😉
Little Tikes Little Handiworker. Speaking of building…my good friend recommended this toy and I think it’ll be a big hit. I do have to say though, thank goodness the hammer is plastic…
Anywhere Chair. This is our gift to Nash and I can’t wait to give it to him! He loves Arden’s almost as much as she does and I know he’s going to be pumped to have one in his room! These chairs really are the best.
Matchbox Cars. Again, it’s all pink and princesses over here…
pipSquigz. I shared these cool little guys on the KC Moms Blog awhile back, and a first birthday seems like the perfect excuse to finally get them. I think they’ll be great for entertaining Nash when we’re out to eat or when I need to fix dinner and keep the little maniac contained in his high chair.
Of course our sweet birthday boy doesn’t really need anything, nor do we expect friends and family to get him all of this…I make these lists purely for the fun of it. I mean, doesn’t everybody do that?! 😉
Halfway to Friday, friends! Have a great day!

I think every child needs an Anywhere Chair for their first birthday!!! Cam LOVES Pipsquigz….I never thought to bring them with us since there are so many pieces, but they would definitely entertain for hours (minutes)! And, I LOVE those boots and that shirt…perfect choices, Momma!! 🙂

I've heard amazing things about Pipsquigz, but goodness are they expensive. Love the Kansas Home T. Great book choice too. We love Red Truck and Little Blue Truck too. Have you seen the construction books by Sally Sutton? We have Demolition and Road Work. Big hits in our house.

Anywhere Chairs are amazing. It constantly sits in the middle of our living room, but it is used hourly!

Ok seriously I think everything on this list is perfect! Totally what would be on Mason's wish list also when he was one. I've been seeing those "home" t-shirts around lately, I think I may need to add one of those to Mason's Christmas wish list! Oh and also, PBK chair is a must! We LOVE ours!

Boy books haha. Aria loves some good truck and construction books though but we definitely have our fill of girl books. Poor dad. He is sick of pinkalicious. He likes to hide those under the chair before bedtime.
