Here’s what you’ve been up to this wild and crazy month…
So it turns out you’re a climber–and a fast one to boot. Stairs, chairs (which lead to tables), step stools, refrigerator shelves…these are just a few of the things you love to scale. This is a whole new world for me considering your sister had no interest in climbing until she was almost two. I hear it’s a boy thing…and it scares me!
Your coordination amazes me. You can go from sitting to standing without support–and then stay there for 20 seconds or so. Is someone feeding you steroids spinach when I’m not around?
You babble all the time and every once in awhile you throw in some real words too. You say momma, dadda, Arden, bye-bye, and night-night…but not consistently by command. I just love your little gremlin voice 🙂
You still nurse about 4-5 times a day, but that doesn’t stop you from inhaling every piece of food you come close to. You’re pretty much eating whatever Arden eats (and then some) for meals–with the exception of peanut butter or honey. I always know when you’re finished because you start to feed your leftovers to Hazel in an…well…interesting way. You chew up the food then lean over the side of your high chair and spit it down for her. Luckily Hazel doesn’t mind the extra processing. Yuck!
Your belly laugh is amazing. If only I could bottle it up…
Going through my makeup bag will entertain you for at least 10 minutes (which is a lot in Nash time)! I think you’d carry around my mascara all day long if I’d let you.
What is it about toilets?!? You have some strange sense that alerts you when a bathroom door is left open and you make a beeline to the toilet bowl. I usually get you after a couple of splashes, but once I found you dipping toilet paper in and sucking the water out. Once again–I hear this is normal for boys?? UGH.
Thanks for another great month, little man. You’re rough and tumble–but squishy and sweet at the same time:) We love you and your big personality SO very much!

Cute pictures!!! I always like to look at your decor in the pictures as well (I can't help it, I went to design school)lol. I'm loving those buffalo check panels, I have been seeing them everywhere! I hope you don't mind me asking…are Arden's pink (shean) ones the same fabric as the teal ones in your dining room, just a different colorway?

He is just a doll! Our little guy is 11 months old, and he is definitely FULL of energy too. It's hard to keep up with the little guy. Love the monthly photos, and happy to see big sister enjoying her little brother so much. They'll have a special bond.
