Morning friends! Meet Mateya! She’s the mom of two adorable little men, and just as sweet and as genuine as they come. And today she’s sharing a recipe that is made in the microwave…yes please 🙂

Hey ladies! I’m so excited to be posting for Vanessa today. Isn’t she just the cutest, sweetest little mama around?!
Being a busy mom myself, I love things that are quick and easy! This little chex mix snack is made in the microwave and takes very little time! Plus it’s dangerously delicious!
The combination of salty and sweet is just too much! Whip up a batch and spread some holiday cheer!
Ingredients:
1 stick margarine
1 Cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white corn syrup
sprinkle of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 box Crispix cereal
1 bag pretzels
1 bag M&Ms
Brown paper bag
Directions:
Combine margarine, brown sugar, white corn syrup, and salt in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir and cook 2 more minutes.
Add vanilla and baking soda. Stir and pour over mixture of pretzels and Crispix.
Put in brown paper bag and microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on high. Remove, shake the bag, and repeat.
Cool on wax paper and finger through as it is cooling to keep the pretzels and cereal from clumping together.
When cooled, add M&Ms.
