Say Hello to the Holidays: Ashley’s Fall Fashion for Toddlers

First, the BIGGEST congratulations to Vanessa & her entire sweet family on the addition of baby Nash!  Vanessa’s blogs was one of the first ones I started following & it still remains one of my favorites today.  There is just something about her that is so incredibly genuine & I just know that if we didn’t live so far apart, we would be friends in real life. 🙂  Plus, something tells me our crazy girls would have way too much fun together!!

While Vanessa is getting in some snuggles with that handsome boy of hers, I am so excited to be filling in to talk a little fashion.  If you follow my blog, Words About Waverly, you know that my daughter & I both have a passion for all things style.  Waverly Maye is two, she loves purses, shoes, jewelry & lately, picking out what she is going to wear. 🙂  As for me, I majored in fashion in college & now teach Fashion Marketing at one of the high schools in my hometown, Virginia Beach.

Fall fashion may just be my favorite ever, especially toddler fall fashion since everything is so much cuter in little people sizes.  This fall, I am finding myself drawn to neutrals, basic pieces with fun tulle, fur or leather accents.  A silver leather jacket for girls & skinny jeans for boys?!  Yes, please. 🙂

All of these pieces can be found at either Next or Nordstrom kids, two of the places we love to shop for Waverly’s wardrobe.  We also loveH&M, & Old Navy, both which have great sales & deals so often, which is so important since these little ones grow out of their clothes way too quickly!  Also, most likely our biggest go-to, we LOVE the fashion at Zara for both little boys & girls, they have the best website & a really reasonable shipping policy.  Waverly’s jumper is from there & as usual, I feel like it is something that I would wear in my own size (if only I could pull it off like she does)!  Especially as she gets older I find that the pieces I love the most are ones that are mini versions of what I would wear myself, pieces that are classic with a fun & trendy twist!!
