Well, it’s just been too long since I’ve joined Darci & friends for a 5 on Friday post!
Apparently getting a new blog design doesn’t mean that you suddenly become a more frequent blogger?!? 😉
Let’s get right to it, shall we??
ONE.
So I’m going to need you to stop whatever you’re doing and buy the ingredients for this face mask (if you don’t already have them at home). I promise, you won’t regret it! My friend Whitney is pretty much a skin and beauty guru–so when she told me this was the most amazing thing she’d ever done for her face, I couldn’t try it fast enough.
Chris made fun of me for putting eggs on my face, but I think he’s just jealous of my awesome-looking skin and invisible pores 😉
TWO.
I may have cried a little taking down our Christmas decorations on New Years Day. Seriously, is that the saddest day of the year or what?!?
However, saying goodbye to the holiday decor meant saying hello to a fresh new mantle…
a fresh new mantle with a pretty little chalkboard print…
(By the way…try not to be jealous of my awesome nightime iPhone photography skills, okay?!)
THREE.
My friend Emily introduced me to Ellie Holcomb a few days ago…and I’ve only listened to her album 12,856 times since. Love, love, love!
Speaking of Emily…she’s got some awesome things going on right now and I’m so excited for her! She’s expecting sweet little Claire any day (eeeek!!!) and just recently launched her own speech & language shop! Emily’s taken her experiences as a speech pathologist and as a momma to create some awesome language-enriching gift packages and other learning tools for kiddos. I am seriously in awe of her–and I think you will be too! You can check out her shop here 🙂
FOUR.
I have to share this crockpot lasagna recipe that I got from my mom…after all, it met my only two cooking requirements: 1. super easy and 2. very tasty!
I “healthified” the recipe with whole wheat noodles, ground turkey, low fat cheeses, etc…and Chris still liked it. That’s a keeper in my book!
FIVE.
Because what is a Five on Friday post without a picture of my sweet girl?!
She makes me so happy!
Have a wonderful weekend, friends!

Love your printable….and I have what may be a dumb question…do you print yours out at home? I feel like the chalkboard ones would take a TON of ink…so maybe you have some pointers? 🙂
