Okay, so about Tuesday……it was awesome! I absolutely loved reading all of your Style File posts and getting tons of inspiration for Arden’s fall wardrobe! Today I hope you’ll join Erinn to share a craft project or idea that you’ve done with your kiddos. I need lots of help in this department, so bring on the toddler crafts!
Now without further ado, I present to you…3 Ingredient Rainbow Slime.
I don’t know about you, but the part of the title that drew me in was “3 ingredient”. Apparently I’m the same kind of crafter as I am a cook! The easier the better, right? 🙂
What you’ll need:
1 bottle of Elmer’s Clear Glue
1 cup of Liquid Starch
(I found the Sta-Flo brand by the laundry detergent at Wal-Mart)
Food Coloring
1 bottle of Elmer’s Clear Glue
1 cup of Liquid Starch
(I found the Sta-Flo brand by the laundry detergent at Wal-Mart)
Food Coloring
First mix your glue & liquid starch…
Then divide into 3 bowls and add 1-2 drops of food coloring in each.
*Note to self: Next time get colors that are a little…umm….prettier!
I worked the slime around until it was a little firmer, then twisted all 3 colors together before handing it over to my eager assistant.
Okay, maybe skeptical assistant would be a better description…
She started to warm up to it once she saw all it could do…
A little game of “find the fork”…
Got it!
And that is all there is to it, folks. A quick & easy craftivity (yes, I just made that up) that will keep your little one entertained for at least 10 minutes 🙂
Oh, and don’t forget next week’s topics–Family Friendly Food and Making Memories!
