Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that voted for Arden’s birthday party on Project Nursery! We didn’t win (shucks!) but feel pretty honored to have even been in the running!
This picture isn’t new, but it’s one of my favorites of my sweet girl & me.
I love her so!
And here’s a little recap of our Fall{ish} weekend. Yes, I’m just like the rest of you–desperately trying to make Fall happen 🙂
Chris is taking the professional engineering exam at the end of October and this weekend was his first round of study courses–Thursday through Sunday, alllll day. We missed him (and felt very sorry for him–because who wants to study for 30 hrs in a weekend?!) but my little sidekick and I still made the most of our weekend…
1. As I was cleaning up lunch on Friday, I heard some slurping coming from the floor. Just like a little hamster 🙂
2. I spent Friday’s nap time decorating our house for Fall! This place setting just makes me smile.
3. Waiting for Daddy to get home from class.
4. When Dad is away, the girls will shop! The checkout bins at Forever 21 are the BEST for baby bows…all of these for less than $10!
5. Cute little momma, pushing Violet around the house.
6. We got a chance to visit Emily and her mom at a local craft fair on Saturday, and oh my, their booth was darling!!! They have the greatest handmade things–from nap mats to yard flags. And look what Arden snagged…her very first trick-or-treating bag! I am in love with it and it’s sweet little ruffle!
Go check out the Little Sprouts facebook page to see all of their great goodies 🙂
7. When we got home from the craft fair, I set Arden down in the living room and ran out to the car to grab a few things. I came back in and found her in Hazel’s kennel in our room. It was Violet’s little bark that gave away their hiding place!
8. On Saturday I made a Kroger run for some gameday snacks…and I’m pretty sure the checker thought I was ridiculous. (And she would be right!)
9. Sunday was a great day…church, naps, errands, and an evening walk!
Hope everyone had a great weekend…and that it actually felt like Fall where you live! 😉

I never would have thought forever 21 would have baby bows!! I need to go check that out. Those are cute cute!! And thank you for the sweet comment 🙂 Arden is pretty adorable herself!

Please do a tutorial how you use the bows from Forever 21.

Love the table set up! Do those bows clip in? Or do the have a hair band, head band?
Vanessa says
Thanks!!! Lately I've just been putting them on her with the clips they come on, but I used to remove the clips and then glue them on to elastic for headbands. All you need is a small piece of felt to sandwich it all together!

What a fun weekend! And such a great idea to find bows at Forever 21. I'll have to pick some up for Blaire. Though I'll need a hat and sunglasses to sneak in there as I haven't been 21 in more years than I'd like to admit! 🙂

My husbands taking his PE exam end of October also. He is doing a class (online) Monday-Thursday 7-10:30pm plus he has to study/do homework most of Saturday and Sunday. October 26th can't come fast enough!
