It’s true…a certain someone that I know is going to be ONE in less than a month! Holy moly!
The invitations are out, party planning is in full swing, and family members have been asking me what the birthday girl would like for her big day. I’m pretty sure she’d be MORE than happy with a cardboard box and some tissue paper, but I went ahead and put together a little wish list anyway. Because, hey…once she starts getting an opinion, I won’t have a say in any of this. So I’ll enjoy it while I can!
1. Radio Flyer Ultimate Comfort Wagon – If you follow me on Instagram, you know that my parents got this for Arden and we’re already using it! All I can say is, WOW…it’s amazing! I can’t wait for the weather to cool down so we can use it every day…not to mention, I get absolutely giddy thinking about Arden trick-or-treating in her little red wagon!
2. Little Tikes Spiralin Seas Water Park – I see hours of back-patio-fun in our future!
3. Pottery Barn Anywhere Chair – This was our gift to miss Arden…and it arrives TODAY. I’m so excited I can hardly stand it! I know, I know…whose birthday is this anyway?! 🙂 But really–it’s cute, functional, and I think she’ll be using it for years.
4. Pediped Betty Shoes – Arden really dislikes wearing shoes, but it turns out it’s frowned upon to send your child to kindergarden barefoot…so I guess if we start working on it now she might tolerate them by 2017. Ha! I just love these sweet white Pedipeds…and hopefully she does too!
5. Vilac Tin Tea Set – Because every little girl needs a tea set! This one comes with a suitcase for storage, and the pieces are all tin so she can really play with them.
6. Pink Whisper Ride Buggy – Between this and the wagon, our evening walks could get SUPER exciting! I’m thinking Monday/Wednesday/Friday: wagon, Tuesday/Thursday: buggy? 🙂 Oh and I’m pretty sure my husband will never get to park in the garage again. Ha!
7. iGuy iPad Case – Arden is just starting to get into some kids apps on the iPad…and let’s just say, she’s not very gentle when she plays. But I think between this case and a screen protector, we should be pretty well covered!
8. B. Toys Zany Zoo Wooden Activity Cube – Arden played with this at the doctor’s office recently and pretty much thought it was the bomb.com. It would be the perfect addition to her playroom!
And now I’m off to sit on the front porch and wait for the UPS guy…it’s chair delivery day!

I have been wanting a radio flyer for Chloe! That water park toy looks awesome too!
Such fun ideas! I may or may not have gotten Lily a tea set for her birthday which is in 3 months! 😉 I think I may be just a little excited! 🙂
Great list Arden! That wagon really is the best, isn't it? Blaire's almost 2 and she still loves to ride in it. She loves that water table and activity cube too. Those pedipeds would look darling on her – hope she'll keep them on for you!
We haven't used out stroller since getting the pink car (bonus this one has cup holders!)- seriously best purchase EVER! And I'm so excited to see her chair!! That's the cutest tea set- and you'll definitely put it to good use 😉
The Pottery Barn chairs are the best! Both of my girls got them a few years ago, and still love them years later! Best part is you can wash the covers, but if they get too dirty, they're not that pricey to replace!
#8 was something we picked up for Henry around 8-months-ish, and he has played with it every day since. She will love it! Can't believe she's almost one.
Looks like a good list for a 1 year old. The first birthday is so fun to plan and do. It gets a little harder to top each year though (just did my 3 year old's party). Every year I say that I am going to keep it simple and I really do try but it is very hard! I am sure she will love the water table with being a summer baby! My son loves his and his wagon he got his first b-day. We still use it all the time!
I just got Ly the Zany Zoo about a month ago. It's really really helped her with *the beginnings* of pulling up! The moment we walk into the room, and she sees the Zany Zoo, she wants NOTHING else but to play with it. 🙂
What a great list! Carson loves his wagon and water table! His pottery barn chair, not so much…yet:). He won't sit still just yet, but I see lots of morning cartoon sessions in our future! I need to look into that iPad cover…
The B. Zany Zoo is STILL a favorite of my 18mo old! I think it's laced with crack! I kid, I kid!

What a great first birthday list! Avery got a wagon for her 1st and she still LOVES it. And I like how you're thinking about Fall already. I like it a lot.
Such cute stuff! I think the little pedipeds are so good for first shoes. They were Owen's first too! We have got to get a little wagon soon! I can see Arden now doing a little trick or treating in her red wagon.. LOVE IT! Such a cute chair, I know she'll love it!
