Is it just me or is time flying? I seriously did a double take when I looked at my phone on Saturday…June already?!? But I have to say, Chris and I rang in the new month in style this weekend. We did something huge.

Went on a date! Without a baby!
Yes, that’s right…we had our first real babysitter experience and I’m happy to report that it was tear-free–for both Arden and mommy 🙂 Chris and I enjoyed a dinner out followed by one of my favorites, Wade Bowen, in concert at Mo’s Place. I have to admit, I have a bit of a crush on ol’ Wade…so it was fun to spend the evening with my husband AND my boyfriend 😉
I even creepily introduced myself to ran into Steph from BEAUtiful mess at Mo’s…and let me just tell you, she’s just as cute and sweet as you would expect from reading her blog! Chris thinks I’m a total weirdo for a. recognizing someone from their blog and b. actually going up and talking to them…but whatever, men just don’t understand 🙂
On Saturday we spent the afternoon at our favorite (also the only) local brewery with our friends, the Trivette’s.
I promise Arden was actually happy to be there…

And something would have to be seriously wrong for us not to make a Fro Yo stop at some point during the weekend.
Someone had her eye on the prize. We gave her a little taste, and as a result, may have created a monster!
And would you look at that, I actually remembered to get a picture of the two of us for Mommy & Me. Notice Arden’s hand on the yogurt 🙂
Sunday started off rainy, but the cooler temperatures were a welcomed change. On the way into church Arden took control of the umbrella situation…
And here we are again…it’s Monday, folks. We’ve got a short 3 days before heading out to one of my favorite weekends of the year.

Friend, we are kindred souls. Wade Bowen is one of my FAV's! That was O's first concert, in my tummy of course. And we spent Sat. at a brewery too. Saint Arnold's for the hubby's birthday. Have y'all been to that one? We should all go, sounds like our hubby's have a lot in common as well.
