Friday already?!? LOVE IT!
Today I’m linking up with my sweet blog {turned real-life!} friend Darci for Five on Friday! I had good intentions of writing this post last week and scheduling it while I was out of town, but I should’ve known that was too ambitious
So basically “Five on Friday” is just a list of 5 things that you’re loving, or random thoughts that you want to share. Perfect for me because I’ve got a lot of randomness going on in my head by Friday! So if you want to join in, just grab the logo & links and add your post to any of these lovely ladies’ blogs!
So here we go…
ONE.
I’ve got two words: life changing.
I’m pale, people. Like really pale. So pale that I sometimes dread warmer weather because I know I’ll have to wear something that exposes my fluorescent skin. But dread no more, because a couple of weeks ago I discovered this stuff. It only has to stay on for an hour (although you can leave it on for up to 3 for a darker tan)–and the genius part is that you put it on with a mitt, so it goes on smooth & streak-free. I was also very impressed by the color and how long it lasted. And at less than $20 a bottle, it sure beats my $45 airbrush tans that only last 2 days!
Do I sound obsessed? Because I am…
TWO.
I first fell in love with her voice in this song…and now I have her new album on repeat. Every song is my favorite!
THREE.
Friends!
I am so thankful for good friends–for me and for Arden
Looking forward to a fun summer ahead with these munchkins!
FOUR.
I’m considering making a change in our living room. I may have put a lot of work into the curtains we have now, but recently I’ve started looking at them and thinking “ew”…(I’m sure my husband is rolling his eyes right now!) So hopefully this small swap will bring a lot bang. Plus, you can’t beat the price for curtains!
FIVE.
We…okay I…finally decided on a “vintage tea party” theme for Arden’s 1st birthday–more details to come on that, of course! Anyway, one of my first priorities is to find the perfect dress for the sweet birthday girl. When I came across this dress it was like I had died and gone to heaven. Only one small problem…the smallest size it came in was 3T. NOOOO! But at least now I have some inspiration as I scour Etsy and the rest of the internet for Arden’s perfect tea party attire. If you know of any good shops I should check out, I would love any recommendations!!!
And that’s all I’ve got for today, folks! We have fun plans for tonight, which reminds me…time to go get tan
Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm officially intrigued by that tanning stuff- and I'm ordering it for sure! Those curtains are beyond pretty. And a vintage tea party theme for Arden's first?! Majorly obsessed (and more than a little excited to see all the details!).

That tanning stuff is intriguing! I'm part of the super pale group too! HAHAHAHA But I can never get self tanner to go on even. I have no idea what my issue is.

Ok this self-tanner stuff sounds amazing…I'm pretty sure that it's never going to stop raining in KC so this might just be the solution And I love the curtains. I just went through the same living room debacle…curtains and all. My hubby rolled his eyes too!

Vintage tea party is such a great theme! I can only imagine all the fun girly, frilly, lacy things you could pull together for the party! The dress is so sweet too I'm so sorry it doesn't come in her size. It reminds me of your blog design!
