Hi friends!
Today you can find me over at The Girls in the Red Shoes talking about my breastfeeding experience thus far. I absolutely love Julie’s blog {just wait until you see her handsome little man, Hudson!} and I’m so excited to be a part of this awesome series!
So hop on over there now and check it out 🙂

I just read your guest post & loved it! I'm 21 weeks pregnant with my first and it's so nice to hear real stories since I plan to nurse, as well. I also laughed out loud when I read about your dog eating the stump! That is something my dog would do! New follower 🙂

Thank you so much, Sarah! Congratulations on your baby on the way…such a blessing! And yes, our dog is quite the character. I just thought that story was too funny not to share 😉

This is awesome. I have LOVED reading this series on her blog and you are the perfect addition to it 🙂 Your writing shined in it as well!!!! So glad breastfeeding has worked out to feed our sweet babes – definitely worth all the hassle, anxiety and angst.
PS I'm typing this comment in the mom's room hooked up to a pump at work. 😉

Arden is the cutest!

Thanks Jenna! I think so too, but I guess I'm kind of biased-ha! 😉

Great post and such a sweet story! You are so right on when you said that whatever route you go, it is the right road. I think so many moms beat themselves up over not doing what they thought they would or should do. I'm sure hearing that today has made someone feel better about their choices!
Vanessa says
Thanks Colleen–I hope so! I loved your post too. I think it's just nice to hear different experiences because it makes us all feel a little more normal!

Your story is so similiar to my own breastfeeding experience. I truly think having the confidence in yourself helps tremendously! So glad that you were able to overcome your obstacles and continue to nurse Arden. We are too hoping to make it to one year and although things are rockin' and rollin' here, reading your story brought me back to when we first started and oh far we have come! Love the sweet pictures! Aubrey's new photos that she took are amazing 🙂

Thanks Rebecca! I feel the same way…those first few weeks I never would've pictured that we'd be here at 9 months. So glad it's all working out for you and Charlotte too!
