It’s Friday!
Arden is napping, my to-do list is nearly complete and I just cracked open a Diet Dr. Pepper–with cherry. I guess you could say that life is pretty good 🙂
Last weekend Chris’ parents came down to visit from Kansas. We didn’t have a lot planned and they were happy to just go along with our everyday life. Speed shopping, 5:00 dinners out, etc…you know, typical life with a baby.
We had a great time celebrating their anniversary on Friday…

And this was the scene the rest of the time. Arden was the entertainment–a role she has pretty much mastered 🙂
It was great having them here and we’re already looking forward to the Fat Hog in May!
Yesterday Arden and I joined a couple friends to pick strawberries at Blessington Farms. The berries were ripe, the weather was perfect and it was SO much fun!

In other news, this little lady’s hair seems to have grown an inch over night. I just love her new “bang swoop”!
Do you know what else seemed to happen overnight? This baby turned into a big girl. Where in the world is the time going?!?

Right after I took this picture she leaned over, rolled through the center splits and ended up on her tummy. I was in shock! I always tried to do that when I danced, but I was never quite flexible enough. Ha!
Chris is at a bachelor party this weekend (poor guy!), and it turns out I can be pretty productive when he’s not around. Last night I put the finishing touches on our new family bulletin board in the kitchen. I always use the calendar on my phone, but there is just something so satisfying about writing things down on paper. I found this cute 2013 printable calendar at The TomKat Studio for free!
Tonight I’m planning to take on a new project involving magnetic paint. We’ll see how that goes!
