Have I mentioned that we have the greatest group of friends here in Katy?
K-State brought us all together–and thank goodness for that because they’ve honestly become our little Texas family. We’ve shared so many great times together over the past (almost) two years…K-State games, road trips, holidays, and now–baby showers. Life is changing!
On Saturday evening our little Katy crew threw us a shower at the Siegel’s house. I knew it was going to be awesome because Lauren is pretty much a professional hostess, but come on…SO cute!

You might remember the Baby-Que we threw for Emily and Jordan back in May. Well, this adorable little guy made his appearance a few weeks later!
Henry is the most precious baby ever…and hopefully my future son-in-law 🙂
Chris and I recently watched “The Happiest Baby on the Block” and he was really excited to try out what he’d learned on a real baby–rather than Hazel. Henry wasn’t fussy at all but he did seem to enjoy the football hold!

I wish I would’ve taken more pictures of the night…especially one with our friends Marcus and Molly and their little guy Blake. Chris and Marcus worked together in St. Louis–and now they’ve moved back to Houston as well. It was so good to see them and to finally meet cute little Blake, who I’ve been watching grow up on Facebook the past year. He was so much fun and it really got me thinking about what life will be like a year from now!
So now we’re officially ready for this baby to arrive! Our friends stocked us up with wipes, clothes, bibs, binkies and lots of great books…all of which will definitely be put to good use!
Thank you guys so much for a great shower. We are so lucky to have you all as friends and we can’t wait for you to be a part of this kiddo’s life! Hope she is ready for her first watch party in a few weeks! 🙂
