When I drive south on Highway 99 towards Sugar Land I always get a queasy feeling in my stomach. This was my regular route to the fertility clinic, which meant I was always on my way to get news–good or bad, I was never sure.
So yesterday when I started down that same highway I automatically felt nervous and sick…until I remembered what we were going to Sugar Land for.
To meet this little lady.
Chris and I were just completely amazed throughout the whole 3D experience. We watched her sleep (with her arm behind her head just like I do), yawn, and even do a couple of high kicks. They also told us that the little chunk is right where she needs to be size-wise–even a little bigger.
Sometimes in the midst of regular life and this pregnancy, I forget about how we got to where we are today…but our experience yesterday was a great reminder. She truly is a miracle.
