Chris and I joined all of the 15-year-olds in Katy last night for a little Katniss, Peeta, and (not nearly enough) Gale. We got to the mall about 45 minutes before the 7:00 show, but luckily there were still plenty of seats available for the 6:15–so we walked right in. Score.
I joined all the teenie boppers in getting way too excited about the Breaking Dawn II trailer…and then came the preview for Titanic in 3D. The girl next to me turned to her friend and said “that move is so old, my parents weren’t even married when it came out!” I started to do the math and decided, “yep, I’m old.”
Anyway, The Hunger Games did not disappoint! For the most part, it was exactly what I pictured when reading it…maybe a little better. Chris also read the book over Christmas break, so I didn’t even have to twist his arm to go with me! I have to say, it was a perfect date night movie…a little something for everyone.
Further entertainment was provided by the little jumping bean in my stomach. Maybe the baby was trying to tell me he or she likes the Hunger Games too? Chris even got to feel a little kick when we got home…so now he knows I’m not making it up. I felt the first flutter on Tuesday, and I have to say that it’s just about the coolest thing ever. It definitely makes this little miracle feel very real.
But back to the HGs. After seeing last night’s movie, I only have one question. How on earth did Miley Cyrus score this guy?
I am so team Gale.
I'm for sure team Gale. And no worries I went and saw HG with Adam, Speer, and Knoth. So please share that info with Chris 🙂

I think the whole world is wondering how Miley scored that guy. Have you read all 3 books yet? I started out team Gale but jumped ship to Peeta. Apparently I'm in the minority 🙂
