My parents are being snowbirds in Florida right now, so I spent this past weekend at my sister’s house while visiting Kansas City. You already know that I’m overly obsessed with my nieces and nephews–so of course, I was pretty pumped to live with 3 of them for the weekend. Maren let me share her room and it was so much fun to wake up and see her patiently waiting for me to open my eyes.
We played barbies, had a makeup shop, planted flowers, put on a fashion show, and even got to see Will’s first steps. I knew he was just waiting for his Aunt Vanessa to come in town to cross this milestone 🙂 I’m so thankful for all of these little moments–I just have to document them. Someday when they’re teenagers I’m going to send them this link!

My sister called after I got home on Monday, but when I answered, it was Maren. She said “thank you for playing with me this weekend…it made my heart happy.”
