Anyone that knows me, knows at least a few good Maren stories. Sometimes my friend at work has me tell her some when she’s having a bad day 🙂 This recent story is one of my favorites (you’ll soon see why), so I decided it was worth a blog post.
Maren goes to preschool three times a week and occasionally one of the kids’ moms bring snack for the whole class. A couple weeks ago she asked my sister if I could bring snacks next time I was in town. Lindsay told her the only problem was that when I was going to be in town she would be on Christmas vacation. Maren’s response was, “oh man, because if she brought snacks all of the kids would say ‘ohhhhh, your mom is soooooo pretty.'”
I don’t think I’ve ever been deemed the pretty sister, so I’m going to take this and run with it!!
We’re back in KC now, which means I will have plenty of new Maren stories before the new year!
