Four sisters, unlimited coffee, and lots of laughter. I’d say that’s a pretty good description of the past weekend at our house! Chris’ mom and her 3 sisters took a roadtrip down to visit us for one of their infamous “sisters weekends”. Let me just start by saying that these women are hi-larious. I laughed so much just watching them laugh–at old stories, at each other, and just about anything else that came up 🙂
All in all it was a pretty laid-back weekend. We played knock poker, browsed Pinterest and watched some football. But the highlight of the trip was an evening at Pinot’s Palette. If you haven’t been, you should definitely check it out! I have to admit I was a little weary considering I haven’t painted on a canvas since…oh yeah, ever. It was great though! We were all blown away at how good our masterpieces actually turned out. Maybe it was the wine?
This is Chris’ farm-kid spin on the London skyline. Yes, that’s a silo.
My Big Ben looked more like the Space Needle than anything. I said it was better than expected…not professional!
Such a cute mother-son pic 🙂
The whole gang. We had so much fun!
On Saturday we headed to the small town of Cat Spring for a little Antique Festival. Little being the key word. There were not nearly as many vendors as I’d expected, but it was still fun to browse!
That night we tried out a restaurant in Midtown called Reef. I’d heard really good things about this place and it definitely lived up to the hype. Delicious!
We had a great weekend with these crazy ladies. The Page sisters are welcome at our house anytime! 🙂
