I’m still working on the pictures from our Memorial Day weekend in Great Bend…so in the meantime, I thought I’d share some of my new obsessions. As if I needed anything else to obsess about, right?
1. Ancestry.com
To kill some time on our 11 hour drive to Kansas, I started a free trial of the family tree website. Chris and I were quickly sucked in…learning about the Calcara’s, Page’s, Gower’s, Larsen’s and more. I have spent many late nights since engrossed in the pictures, marriage certificates, drafts cards, etc.
One of my favorite things is the names. Jasper, Houston, Emeline, Mabel…so cool.
Speaking of Jasper…here is Chris’ grandpa’s fraternity picture from K-State.
2. Hipstamatic.
I know I’m way behind on this one, but I love this app. I owe Chris’ cousin Megan for introducing me to this one, as well as my next obsession.
Here’s a Hipstamatic version of Memorial Day weekend…
The hosts 🙂
Back in KC with the cutest little Royal’s fan 🙂
We only walked 5 miles to find the cotton candy guy. I’d say it was worth it…
A pretty morning walk at my parent’s house. Sorry guys, I am not here to feed you.
3. Pinterest
Oh. my. gosh. Obsessed is actually an understatement. Believe it or not, I have hardly looked at facebook in the past week because I’m spending all my downtime pinning. Megan, I blame/thank you for this!!!
Seriously, go check it out. A-mazing!!!
4. Heart of the Matter by Emily Giffin.
I’ve loved all of her books so far, but this one might be my favorite. I had a work trip in Boston this week, which also happens to be where the book was set, and I read the entire thing on the flights there and back. So good!
That’s it…for now 🙂

Love, love pinterest too! I've been at it for a couple of weeks now – it is a time suck!
