Remember that game we used to play in college…”xxxx xxxx, xxxx xxxx, better than a xxxx xxxx”? Just humming the tune takes me back to drinking Natty in the Sigma Chi basement with the checkered floor. Oh the good old days…sighhhh. Well, we brought it back this weekend. That should give you an idea of how our few days with Adam and Whitney went 🙂
Friday was a girls day and it was just what I needed. Pedicures, lunch and Nordstrom Rack. Does life get any better? It was great to spend some quality time with Whit–I miss her so much!
That night we all headed to Reliant Stadium for the kickoff of Rodeo Houston…the BBQ cookoff. We were lucky that Brian has the in’s in H-town and got us into one of the team’s tents. Unlimited BBQ and beer…every cowboy/cowgirl’s dream.

Saturday started off with mimosas and another wildcat victory! Is it obvious that we asked for heavy on the champagne, light on the OJ? 🙂
These two girls weren’t watching the game…just playing until they couldn’t play anymore, as usual.
After a stop at Bob’s Tacos, it was off to Mo’s. I know, it’s ground hog day…

The night ended with some pretend 2-stepping and a run to Taco Bell. Hopefully the drive-thru guy didn’t remember us from Friday night. Yep, you heard right…forth-meals…twice.
Adam and Whitney’s flight on Sunday was cancelled due to fog and storms in KC. It was inconvenient for them, but I was secretly happy because it meant another day to hang out with those crazy kids. However, this one was a little more laid back…and by laid back I mean, I never got out of my pajamas and I realized at 4 that I hadn’t brushed my teeth. I’m sure I’m being judged, but it was an honest mistake 🙂
Now it’s time to gear up for Australia. Saturday is the big day!
