This post is long overdue…I will blame it on the fact that I was traveling for work most of the week. That and sometimes I just a lazy blogger. What can I say–it happens.
Last Saturday we threw our first party in the new house. I wouldn’t quite call it a housewarming party because most of the people there had already been over a few times…it was more or less just an excuse to get everyone together.
Since we’ve been down here we’ve done a lot more cooking and entertaining…oh to have a social life again! So while Chris was watching the K-State game with the boys, I stayed home and made crockpot beer brats, spin dip (thanks Jamie for the recipe!), chicken wing dip, brownies, and my mom’s famous party pizzas. It was probably not a good idea to be chopping artichokes during such an intense game, but I came out with all 10 fingers and the cats pulled out a win 🙂

Throwing parties is hard work!
We are just wrapping up another fun weekend in H-town. Brittany and Jimmy came to visit and we had a blast! I need a nap now, but will blog about it soon 🙂
