There was something very unnatural about decorating for Christmas when it was 80 degrees outside…but I got over it pretty quickly because I love the hoildays. Who doesn’t though? Maybe people that don’t like puppies or ice cream? So anyway, since I haven’t had any grand blogging ideas lately, I thought why not share some pictures of our Christmas decor. Welcome to Casa de Calcara…Christmas style 🙂
The front door featuring my 2 for $20 mini Christmas trees. I’m pretty proud of that deal if you can’t tell 🙂 Next year we might add some garland and lights to the arch.
I got this glittery olive leaf wreath at where else…Homegoods. Love that store and love this wreath.
Does this look familiar? Same furniture, different dining room 🙂 With a little glittery poinsettia action goin on. Glittery seems to be a common theme here…
Probably not going to be doing much sledding in Texas this year…
The mantle…
Well, she’s officially part of the family…Hazel’s got her own stocking folks! I should probably mention that she spends about 30 minutes a day fighting with this dog…yes, the flat, 8 inch, cross-stitched dog. Aren’t you impressed? She’s such a smarty!
We moved the tree all over the living room and this was the only place that really worked. Not ideal, but it kept it in our main living area…we just didn’t think it would feel like Christmas if we stuck it in the office or another room.
I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!
Happy Holidays from our little Christmas present!!!
