I took a vacation day today…and it’s been glorious. Got in a good workout, did my husband’s laundry (usually I make him do his own–I know, I’m mean but the kid goes through more clothes in a week than a new born goes through diapers!), decorated for fall and even did a little baking. My house smells like warm apple crisp…and it’s not even a candle for once. The real stuff!
Fall is by far my favorite season of the year. Football games, hooded sweatshirts, falling leaves (now that I don’t live in Prairie Village anymore!), trick-or-treaters…the list goes on and on. And my favorite store for the Fall–Pottery Barn. Duh. It is like a little slice of heaven! I went there over my lunch break yesterday and was so tempted to just curl up on the couch and stay forever! Normally I just go to get ideas and then head to Hobby Lobby to try to recreate them, but this time was different. I’ve specifically been saving our remaining PB wedding gift cards just for them to release their fall decor. And boy was it worth it!!! Here’s what I ended up with…
These sticks and feathers are ones we saved from my bridesmaids’ bouquets. So fun!
And my little helper…
On that note, we’re off to Kansas City for Farmageddon Part II. Can’t wait to see family and friends. Go cats!!!!!!
