You know I can’t resist this…

There’s a hidden treasure just 5 minutes down the road from us…

This family in Glen Carbon has an 1860’s barn on their property and every so often they have a sale…featuring antiques and daylilies from their garden. Amazing!! I guess I just have a soft spot for barns and chandeliers! I got a couple of fun things while I was there–so expect a blog post about them when I get everything cleaned up and displayed. 🙂

Also, I know that I never finished Part 2 of my Kansas City post but it’s only because I realized I didn’t take a single picture! I wasn’t on top of my game that day, that’s for sure. In a nutshell, we had a great day with family and friends out at my parents’ house last Saturday. Good food, drinks, and a lot of my favorite people in one place…my wonderful in-laws, Taylor and his girlfriend Ingrid, both sets of Carter families, and even Heather made an appearance! I guess I just had so much fun that I forgot to take pictures! 🙂
